(Photo copyright © Susan Branz)Hideo Asano is partly educated in Southern California who has travelled extensively around the world. As a freelance journalist, he also covered the civil war inside Afghanistan during the occupation of the Soviet Union.
He spent a great amount of time talking with injured rebels, refugees and capturing their respective individual stories which is reflected in his short stories, poems, novels, speeches and other writings. He is bilingual in Japanese and English.
He is looking forward to sharing his works with the world.
